The Republican primary voters that you know and trust elected me as your Republican Nominee for Sheriff in 2008. I’m a proven advocate for the conservative values that we all share.

 

My commitment to the Republican Party is not a recent occurrence, as many of you know. I have been in the trenches with you for some time and now that Galveston County has gone Republican, I’m asking for your vote to finish the job! 

 

The people of Galveston County deserve a fiscally responsible but proactive Sheriff’s Office that can provide quality public safety services. Throughout my career, I have worked with people at all levels of government. I have successfully partnered with local, county, and state law enforcement agencies, court personnel, and members of the bar. I have the experience, insight, drive, and ability to lead the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office.

 

Our county’s debt is the highest in its history. Families are tightening their belts, and we must do the same at all levels of government. I’ve been a law enforcement manager long enough to recognize and have the ability to adjust budgets without a negative impact to public safety.

 

My campaign will focus on three principal themes: (1) extensive experience in professional law enforcement management; (2) a commitment to transparency and community interaction to ensure public confidence in the integrity of all department members; and (3) conservative judgment and action, free of any obligations to special interests.

 

As your next, and the first, Republican Galveston County Sheriff, I will work tirelessly to make the Sheriff’s Office more accountable, transparent, and responsive to you, the taxpayer.
